Details

This fully revised and enlarged 2nd Edition of Sue Parker's bestselling guide to wildflowers in the Algarve was published in March 2024. the Kindle ebook contains 170 colour photographs and clear non-technical descriptions of a wide selection of the Algarve’s notable wildflower species and their habitats. It provides ‘where and when to look’ advice for each species as well as details of the Algarve’s natural parks and other nature hotspots.

Author Sue Parker, an accomplished botanist and Fellow of the Linnean Society, has included descriptions of each of the major categories of wildflower habitats, with full-colour pictures and a description of the kinds of plants likely to be found there. Together with safety guidance, an 'Algarve geography' map is included showing the locations of the main types of plant habitats.

Finally, to help readers find their way about the Algarve, at the back of the book there is a more detailed map showing the main roads, towns and villages and the locations of natural parks and other important nature sites referred to in the book.
