Lestes dryas, Scarce Emerald Damselfly

Scarce Emerald Damselflies are found in the south east of England, where they are mainly associated with shallow drainage channels and coastal marshes. The specimens shown above and immediately below are males

The female Scarce Emerald damselfly has brown eyes and is slightly smaller than the male.
